I’m Jason, the person behind every image Comprend Studios produces.
A degree in architecture and fifteen-plus years in practice, across a full range of project scale: high-end bespoke homes to small renovations and kitchen redesigns. That range matters: the same eye that catches an alignment problem in a detail drawing is the one making sure a five-bedroom hillside build sits subtly in the site context.
My focus now is helping architectural practices put the latest visualisation tools to work, from traditional rendering through to advanced AI-generated imagery, without losing the accuracy a trained eye brings.
Why it matters
We’re here to help a client properly comprehend a design early, while there’s still time to change it. Sometimes that means supporting a marketing push or working through a design alteration before it’s locked in on site. Sometimes it’s convincing council that a design and its specified finishes are going to meet design standards.
From a new kitchen to an entire development
No two projects are the same. It can range from helping mum and dad clients see their new kitchen before a single cabinet is installed, or the renovation project they dreamed about coming to life before they go to the bank. Sometimes it’s showing potential stakeholders the look and feel of an entire development before they commit to buying in.
Either way, the brief is the same: images clear enough to support a real decision, not just a pretty picture.
